One Day Head Study

The Other day our model was in class but we didn't have the Vespa Scooter to paint so my teacher Nancy Mitter wanted us to just do a head study of the model. Nancy told me it was "successful"

Works In Progress



For weeks my teacher Nancy Mitter has been promising us that she's going to get a Vespa scooter for us to paint with the model for our final pose assignment. Last Wednesday when I got to school there it was in her office. Cool! I'll be working on this pose for the rest of the semester.

Portrait Assignment



This was the first assignment in my Illustration Techniques class. Erik Olson teaches this class. I would NEVER have painted something this ominous looking but it was for the assignment: paint a portrait of someone you like or love but don't trust. I chose to paint my friend Doug who's covered in tattoos and piercings.

These are various progress pictures of my homework for Nancy Mitter's class. It's another 36"x48" canvas. Not sure how I'm gonna get it finished before the semester is over but I'm gonna try. I'm going to call this "Best Friend" because this is my best friend Jeff and he's sitting with his cat Ocean.

Fairy Tale and Ghost Story




This is for two assignments in Erik Olson's class. we had to take a fairy tale and add our own spin to it so I came up with this idea of Sleeping Beauty having to rescue the prince instead of the other way around. The idea being to empower women
