Long's Horseradish Paintings

Part of a collaborative assignment in Bryan Durren's class. These are for an ad campaign for Long's Horseradish to reposition them as a high-end specialty food brand. *Update*These were included in a print advertising campaign that became a finalist in The One Show.

 This is another painting I did for Cathy Gendron's class. This is a feature illustration for a magazine article entitled "Don't Call Me Clever" about the benefits of a limited intellect and the pros and cons of intelligence.

This is for the latest assignment in my Senior Studio class continuing the theme of movies that haven't been released yet. This one is Edward Norton from Pride and Glory.

Editorial Painting

 Three separate editorial paintings with some of the process work included. The first one is for a magazine article about “mid life.” I came up with this idea of a man standing on a proverbial “stairway to heaven.” Halfway up the stairway he runs into a sign that reads “you are here.” The second one is for an article about how record albums are coming back into fashion. The third is a book cover for the classic Ernest Hemingway novel, The Old Man and the Sea.

RocknRolla with Gerard Butler

This is the painting I'm working on for my senior studio class. My theme is movies that are soon to be released as a sort of fall/winter movie preview. This is from the movie Rocknrolla. First image is the sketch then the value studies then my progress and finally what I have completed so far. My teacher, Don Kilpatrick, said he liked my value studies better than the painting.
