Since Steve and Danny aren’t together anymore I decided to draw them together myself. I used a pic of Alex recently spotted at his BJJ class and Scott from his new show Alert: Missing Persons Unit. They’re still together in my head solving cases and chasing bad guys. My heroes.

Alex O’Loughlin

Another rare sighting of Alex O’Loughlin. I love this man so much. It’s been a couple years since Hawaii Five-0 has gone off the air and O’Loughlin hung up his Steve McGarrett hat. He’s reportedly quit acting and now only does Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I keep hoping maybe he’ll surprise fans someday and come out with a new movie or show. Until then I have ten seasons of Hawaii Five-0 episodes to watch my hero Steve McGarrett saving the world over and over again on repeat. 

Spirited

Spirited was surprisingly really good. Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell had a really good bromance in it. I thought it was gonna be dumb but it was better than I expected. They took the old Dicken’s classic, flipped it on its head and made it modern with lots of great new songs. I highly recommend it.

The Story of the Prince Who Saved the Boy

Once upon a time there was a boy who was born small and frail. He was picked on and ridiculed for being different. When he grew into an adult man he tried very hard to give his talents to the world in every way he knew how. But everywhere he turned the doors would slam shut in his face. And the world said “no we don’t want it.” So he gave up. He was offered no love. No support. He was abandoned by his family. His heart was broken beyond repair. Then the man got very sick. He knew the end of his life was near. But then one day a handsome Prince appeared. The Prince was very tall and very strong. With sparkling blue eyes and a noble heart. He cared for the man and gave him love. He made him feel whole again. And every time the man would see him his heart felt healed. But the Prince had to leave the man for a time. He assured him he would return. He hugged the man and said his goodbyes. Then the Prince held him in his arms and when he looked into the man’s face he saw teardrops fall onto the ground. He was crying because he knew by the time the Prince returned he would no longer be alive.
