Project Runway: Jenni, Nathalia and Dexter

In week nine Jenni went home in the family and friends challenge. Each designer was tasked with creating a look for their mothers, daughters, and friends. The judges did not like the look Jenni designed for her mother, calling it “confusing”.

Week ten saw a shocking double elimination that sent home both Dexter and Nathalia during the Marie Claire challenge where the designers were assigned to create an editorial, high fashion look for Marie Claire Magazine.

Project Runway: Brixit

After being the bottom look in the season opener, Brick was finally eliminated in episode 7. He was sent home during the streetwear challenge. The judges didn’t like his dress. Zac Posen said he didn’t know who Brik was as a designer.  Laurence was the winner scoring her second challenge win. Only 9 designers are left. I can’t wait to see who takes home the prize.

Project Runway: Sarah, Alex & Tasha

Three more weeks and three more cast members have left the competition. Sarah went home during the swimwear challenge. The judges didn't like her swimwear for being too "junior." The next week Alex was sent home during the team challenge. All the cast members on the winning team each won $5,000. Then during the elimination each cast member of the losing team was asked which of their colleagues should be sent home. One by one each cast member put themselves on the chopping block so as not to throw their friends under the bus. It was one of the most emotionally tearful goodbyes I've seen on the show. Ultimately the judges sent Alex home for being the team leader and pitching the team's collection as business wear when it was more suited for the night club. Finally in the next episode Tasha was sent home for her cocktail dress which the judges didn't like for its poor fit and for being inexpensive looking. 10 cast members remain. I can't wait to see who wins.

Project Runway: Linda and Kimber

Over the past 2 weeks we said goodbye to Linda and Kimber of the 16 cast members on Project Runway. 13 cast members remain in the competition. It's looking like Erin or Dexter may be the ones to beat. I can't wait to see who wins. Such a fun show to watch squeeeee.

Project Runway: Ian

I've watched Project Runway every year since Season One. It is so fun to watch and I always love all the designers, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, the judges and the challenges. I have such incredible respect for all the designers because to me they are the true artists putting themselves out there. This year as a tribute I'm going to make portraits of every cast member who gets eliminated each week. Last week we said goodbye to Ian, who will it be this week? We’ll find out tonight. Project Runway airs every Thursday night at 9pm on Lifetime.

Donald Trump

I’ve had this idea for a while now to draw Donald Trump as Immortan Joe from Mad Max. I figured now was as good a time as any after Trump recently made his worst, most anti-immigrant speech ever.. It was so awful, full of fear-mongering and racism. It was like watching a speech from the worst dictator ever. Trump is the vilest person on the planet the only people who are worse are his brain-dead followers.

Doctor's Office

I went to the Doctor again. Seems like I've been doing that a lot lately. I'm having problems with my knees. Here are some quick sketches from the waiting room. Maybe I'll be healthy someday.

Going To the Doctor's Office

I went to the Doctor's Office today. I drew some pictures on my way there and while I was waiting in the waiting room. The first image was the woman driving me there. She was nice. The second image was a woman waiting in the waiting area. When she was called in I just drew a chair.

Batman Villains

Well, I've been neglecting my blog ever since my Mom passed away in 2014. I figured it was time I entered the world of the living again. Here are 4 illos I made for a Batman Villain Art show. Each illustration was on a folded card with a quote from the character. I had a lot of fun making these. I guess that's what life is really all about
