Now that Halloween is over I’m not wasting any time posting for Christmas and the holidays. I’ve never decorated for Christmas but because I have Adhesive Arachnoiditis I wanted to decorate this year. This is supposed to be a Christmas village. Not sure I’ll be here next year. Right now I’m still healing from cervical fusion surgery. I still have several weeks to go before I can take off my cervical collar. In a lot of unbearable pain but still grateful for all the blessings that I do have.
I don’t think I’ve ever made a Halloween post on this blog before so I guess this is my first one. My friend bought two pumpkins and squirrels got into one and ate all the seeds inside so I drew my interpretation of that. I recently had spinal fusion surgery. I’m laying here on Halloween with a cervical collar on. Not passing out any candy. Trying to heal and get better. Hope everyone is having a Happy Halloween
I’ve been drawing Hawaii to escape from all my medical ailments related to Adhesive Arachnoiditis. Hawaii recently had a tragic fire in Maui. It was the worst fire in modern US history. So I dedicate this post to Maui and all the people affected by the fire there.
People who know me know I’m suffering from a horrible neurological disease called Adhesive Arachnoiditis. It’s one of the most painful diseases known because it makes the nerves in your spinal cord stick together and adhere to the wall of your spinal canal. I got my blood tested recently. My Lymphocytes are 0.8 K/CUMM, Alkaline Phosphatase 128 Units/Liter. Any infection could kill me. So I’ve been drawing pictures of Hawaii. To escape. I might not make it much longer. Hope I made some people happy with my drawings. I hope I was able to share a little joy in my life. Even if it was a simple smile. Wish I had more time
Steve and Danny otherwise known as McDanno from the show Hawaii Five-0. This was their last scene together. It was so heartbreaking because after ten years of Danny being a loyal partner by Steve’s side Steve left Hawaii in search of “peace.” Scott Caan who plays Danny did an amazing job conveying the emotion Danny felt in this scene. His face was so sad. You could tell Steve leaving broke Danny’s heart right in two. Hawaii Five-0 is now streaming on Paramount+
